Who we are

Airport Toronto Pearson Limo provides licensed limousine and taxi transportation in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Our office is at 92 Carlton Street, Toronto, ON, Canada. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and applicable Ontario legislation.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to arrange and complete a ride:

• Your name, phone number and email address when you call, message or use our booking form.
• Pickup and dropoff addresses, travel date and time, passenger numbers and any flight number you give us so we can track an arrival.
• Accessibility needs, child seat requirements or other requests you choose to share so the vehicle is prepared correctly.
• Billing details for corporate accounts, including a company name and reference or cost centre. Card payments are processed by our payment provider and we do not store full card numbers.
• Addresses you type into the fare calculator, which are sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim geocoding service and the OSRM routing service to work out the driving distance. We do not store those searches.
• Basic technical information from your browser, such as pages visited and approximate location, used only to keep the website working.

How we use it

• To quote, confirm, dispatch and complete your journey.
• To contact you about a booking, including delays, chauffeur details and pickup points.
• To issue receipts and invoices, and to keep the records our licensing requires.
• To answer enquiries and resolve any complaint about a ride.
• To improve our routes, service levels and website.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Your chauffeur receives the details needed for your trip. We also use service providers for payment processing, invoicing, email and mapping. Those providers may only use the information to perform the service for us. We disclose information to police or a regulator when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Booking and billing records are kept for seven years to satisfy tax and licensing obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months.

Security

Access to booking records is limited to staff who need it. Systems are password protected, accounts use multi factor authentication where available, and paper records are stored securely at our office.

Your choices

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep. Write to bookings@airporttorontopearsonlimo.com or call 416-518-9530. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Cookies

The website uses essential cookies only, so pages load correctly and forms work. We do not run advertising trackers. You can block cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
